Today we took Jack in to be tested for Retinoblastoma. The ophthalmologist indicated that Jack’s eyes looked GREAT and saw no indication of any growths anywhere (finally some good news). However, he could only get a good look at about 90% of his eyes. Therefore (as a precaution) he would like Jack to have an exam under anesthesia to be able to view the both eyes. The doctor indicated there was nothing he saw to be worried about this is just normal procedure. Heidi and I discussed this and since Drew’s next exam under anesthesia is set for 12/28/06 we are doing our best to set both Jack and Drew’s exams for the same day, one right after another so the boys can be there together. This exam is an out-patient procedure so Jack will be home later in the day and Drew will stay in the hospital for his 2nd Chemo treatment.
Drew is still in the hospital right now and will probably be there for the rest of the week. Right now his Neutrophil count is extremely low. The low count doesn’t indicate anything other than he is just that much more susceptible to infection. The counts should start turning the other way by the end of the week. The doctors want to keep him quarantined just to be safe. Other than that he is alert and playing with that great smile.
We’d like to thank both sets of Grandparents for helping us out with the boys this week and last. They have no idea how comforting it is to leave your kids in the care of loved ones while we sneak off to work now and then. THANKS MOM, DAD, BOB AND ROSE this wouldn’t be possible without you!

Heidi & Tony,
No thanks is needed. There are ANGELS AMONG US, sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to me and you in our darkest hour. Isn't that true. We love all you and we need to be there for you. That's what family and friends are for. You have two wonderful little angels in your family, Jack & Drew! And there are two wonderful big angels, too.
In the silence of the night, dwell on the precious moments you got to experience that day and that will give you the strength and inner peace.
Grandma Rose & Grandpa Bob
WE CAN JUST SEE THOSE GIULIANI BROTHERS DOWN THE ROAD, PUSHING PEOPLE OVER ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD!!
HANG IN THERE AND GOOD THINGS WILL BE HAPPENING.
MUCH LOVE AND PRAYERS..SHARON,CLIFF AND KEEGAN
