Drew's Coming Home
We just spoke with the hospital and Drew is eating 5 ounces every 3 hours, which is good news. His blood counts have started to drop, which was expected. His red blood counts are too low, so he needs a small blood transfusion. Tony and I just gave our verbal consent, so they will start it soon. It will take about 2 hours. He will need to be monitored for an hour after that. If all goes well Drew WILL COME HOME. We are so excited for him to come home. Finally we will get to be together as a family. Grandma Rose will be with us today and tomorrow. Tony is feeling better, but we don't want to risk him getting sick. She will help care for him, so we can all get better. Thank you for all your prayers. I think they are starting to work!

That's wonderful news Heidi! We'll pray that for every valley you experience, there's an even higher peak that moves Drew closer to getting better.

Welcome home little buddy!!!!!!! I am so glad to hear that things are begining to turn around and hope that all of you are feeling much better. Hope that you guys have a relaxing but enjoyable weekend with one another and I will touch base with you guys via the phone this weekend.
