Another Round Down

Drew did well with his fifth round of chemo. He is still eating and drinking, so this is a good sign. He is home and doing well. There has been no change in the tumor in the left eye since last round. This is good news, because this indicates the tumors are most likely dormant. Dr. Olson thought we probably would not see any additional shrinking of the tumors. The type of regression pattern is similar to a hard crystal rock. Dr. Olson will monitor it for any changes in shape or size. Drew will go for his last round of chemo on April 19th. Until then we will work hard to get him through the rough spots of this round. He is scheduled for a blood transfusion next Friday, and we anticipate a platelet transfusion the following Wednesday. Hopefully this will be his only visits to the hospital before April 19th.

Thank you again to everyone who is praying, thinking of and sending their love to Drew. He is almost done with the worst part of this lifetime journey. We and Drew couldn't have gotten through this without everyone's love and support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Dear Giuliani's,
Good News, glad to hear that this round of Chemo is going smoother. It sounds like the results are good too! Can't wait till April 19th is over and you get through the last of the Chemo and can move on with your lives and enjoy happy family life everyday again. We are thinking of you and praying everything continues to go smoothly!

DREW BUG,
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW, SOME DAY, WHAT A WONDERFUL MOMMIE AND DADDY YOU HAVE. WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE. THEY LOVE YOU AND CARE FOR YOU SO MUCH.
YOUR BIG BROTHER FOR AS LITTLE AS HE IS, KNOWS WHEN YOU ARE IN THE HOSPITAL, TALKS ABOUT THE CHEMO CRUSADER AND HOW HE IS GOING TO GET THE BAD CELLS.
WHEN WE CALLED HOME HE WOULD SAY, "MOMMIE, CAN I TALK TO DREW BUG?"
LOVE IS ALL AROUND YOU BUDDY. YOUR A REAL TROOPER!
STAY HEALTHY THIS ROUND SO GRANDMA AND PAPA SEANGERS' CAN COME DOWN AND CELEBRATE EASTER WITH YOU.
WE LOVE YOU BUDDY.

Hi, guys. For the longest time I wasn't able to leave a message? Go figure. In an event, glad things are going well. I've been avidly following all along and continue to send my Californai vibes your way. Love to you both and to the boys. You're an amazing and inspiring family. I'll be here when you're ready for Disneyland and Sea World!
