Drew was released from the hospital today. He still has a cold and a little bit of the cough. He is in better spirits. They are not sure what caused the fever, since all tests came back negative. Most likely some sort of virus. Unfortunately they have to take all precautions and admit him, whenever he has a fever.
We are just happy to be home. Drew can crawl around and play. Tony and I can sleep in a comfortable bed, without monitors going off all night. Jack gets to have Mommy and Daddy tuck him in tonight. It is the simply things in life you forgot about, until you don't have them. It is just nice to be together as a family. The best cure for sadness is laughter, and it is wonderful to hear to little giggles in the house again.

So glad that Drew is home with everyone. We are just counting down the minutes until round 6 is over. I'm so glad that Drew has such great parents in both of you: Heidi and Tony. Can't wait to see Drew in the near future...

Heidi.... just wanted you to know you,Tony,Drew,Jack, your Mom & Dad have been added to one of the largest prayer lines I know of. You remember Pete & Kutz" the people we bought the land from. Saw her yesturday and told her about Drew, She has a prayer line that does not stop, even has little kids in it. She says Kids prayers go further and faster than ours. She said to tell you that you have all been added to her undying line. To let you know. She wanted your names and addresses... so do not be surprised if you hear from her. She will probably sign by... Catherine Schumer. Hope all is well and good luck on the next chemo..... know we are all thinking of you constantly... Helen & Betty
