Yesterday was a day filled with stress, anticipation and overjoy. Our lives could have taken a very different turn yesterday, but finally luck was on our side. Dr. Olson found no change in the tumors in the eye. He believes they are all dormant at this time. Even better news came an hour later - No change in the cyst on the pineal gland. Our oncologist was nice enough to read the MRI results right away, and they think the cyst is just an enlarged pineal gland. This is not uncommon in kids with Retinoblastoma. They do not think it is cancerous at this time. They will recheck again in two months, just to be cautious.
Thank you everyone for our love, support and prayers over the last month. We appreciate it immensely. We could not have gotten through this scare without our friends and family. We love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We will continue to keep the blog updated on Drew's progress. He is a strong kid and a fighter. Best of all he continues to be a cancer survivor!

Yippeee! And way to run that 1K, Jack! (And did I know you have relatives in RI? Where?)
I will continue to watch Drew's progress from afar, but after reading the latest I think there is finally some justice! Happy summer to you all!
