On Wednesday, Drew went in for his follow up exam with his new doctor, Dr. Christiansen. The eye exam went well, the doctor didn't find new tumor growth in either of Drew's eyes. However, the one new tumor from the last eye exam that they hit with the laser hadn't regressed as much as the doctors would like. Therefore, they had to laser that spot again. Drew will have to go in again in another 6 weeks to keep a close eye on that tumor. This is the exact reason Drew will not have an eye exam pushed out more than 3 months until he is five or six. If not, new tumors could grow too large requiring more Chemo, which for obvious reasons we would like to avoid.
Now that we are past the eye exam, we can now prepare for our trip to Disney World on Tuesday. We gave that to the boys for X-mas and they have been counting down the days. Both of them are just getting over the nasty virus that's been going around and are so excited to see all the characters. Heidi and I can't wait to see Disney World through the boys as this gift was more of a celebration of beating cancer. Both of them went through so much in 2007, we couldn't think of a better way to start off 2008. This is their vacation and I am sure they'll be spoiled, they always are.

Have fun in Disney world!!! Give Mickey and big hug and say hi to all his friend for us. You guys deserve a great trip and some fmaily time focused on fun.

DREWBUG you keep fighting. Your a tough little boy and were going to all hope and pray that those bumps go away forever. You are the most precious little boy in my life. So happy all the time. I love you very much. You, Jack and Mommy and Daddy will have a great time at Disney World.
