Fund Raiser For The Children's Cancer Research Fund

Drew has been doing just AWESOME this round. With the exception of a few restless nights, he has been his old self. His counts rebounded this week so we could stop giving him his daily shots and we're planning on sending him back to daycare next week for a few days. This will get him out of the house for a little bit to play with others before we get ready for the 13th. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers.

On another note, Heidi and I wanted to post to the blog letting you all know that June 28th is the 6th annual Children's Cancer Research walk/run fundraiser called "Time to Fly"(some may remember that Jack ran it last year). Jack had an awesome time and was able to raise about $600 for a cause that is now near and dear to our hearts. This year we thought it might be fun to organize a Team for the walk/run, "Team Drew Giuliani." So far, we have formed a team with many family and friends but are always looking to add and felt this may be the best way to get the message out. Any funds we raise goes towards research at the U of M Pediatric Cancer facility to help eliminate not only Drew’s type of cancer but many other cancers that affect children.
